Impressionism, Art Deco, symbolism, and Surrealism are all motifs expressed through imagery found in Austin's paintings, as well as in narratives that go hand in hand with the art.

A free and open-to-the-public reception will be held on Sunday, September 21 from 3 to 5 p.m. This reception includes a special spoken word event, titled "Lessons from a Plant". Everyone is welcome to come meet the artist and experience art through both sight and sound.
